Why VirtualBox window is transparent…
By chys on October 13th, 2008I have been using Compiz Fusion and VirtualBox for a while. They were both working well except I could not switch VirtualBox to fullscreen or seamless mode. I did not change any setting either in Compiz Fusion or VirtualBox, but these two days all black pixels have become transparent. What’s the problem?… (If I shut down Compiz Fusion, VirtualBox displays coreectly.)

I wish I knew – I have the exact same problem – the only reason I have Windows (on Virtualbox) is to view DRM videos in MediaPlayer – now I can’t see the video – coz my Ubuntu wallpaper is all over it.
There is a solution here

Hope that helps!
Thanks, Joe.
Actually for me this problem has gone for a long time though I did nothing to it..
