Having using iPhone for half a year, I took snapshots twice unawares. Today I finally found out how.. It’s a bit tricky -- press the only two buttons that iPhone has (i.e. the power and home buttons) simultaneously.

ps. digiKam and likely many other tools can import pictures from an iPhone to a Linux box.
